About

Yellowfin Youth Fund

Supports fun and empowering opportunities where youth engage in physical activities while developing life skills, passions and friendships.

Empowering Youth Through Activities and Sports

Yellowfin Youth Fund (YYF) is dedicated to helping boys and girls, ages 5-18, develop valuable life skills.

We use a combination of activities and sports, so that the youth can explore a new activity, interact in a fun environment, and enhance their communication skills.

Once engaged, YYF believes kids might develop a passion for a favorite activity or sport, which can lead to choosing to make a stronger commitment in the future, whether it be individually or as part of a team.

Dedicated to helping boys and girls continue to develop valuable life skills through activities + sports.

Values for YYF:

• Have Fun
• Improve Communication
• Find Your Passion
• Learn the Value of Commitment

Organizations We’ve Partnered With

Our entire community is grateful!

This week, one of our young runners happened to be in the lobby when Alan dropped off 8 pairs of track spikes for our girl’s track team, and her reaction was priceless. She picked out a bright pink pair, tried them on, and just kept staring in disbelief as if they were the coolest shoes she had ever seen. That moment really summed up why partnerships like this are so powerful for children, especially those who may have faced challenging circumstances in their young lives.

A new pair of track shoes might not seem like a big deal to some, but those brightly colored spikes made a young girl feel seen, valued, empowered, and hopefully inspired to do her best on the field. That is magic and our entire community is grateful!

Just to see the smile on their faces when they receive a new pair of cleats makes it all the more worth it.

I believe in our youth. I’ve always had that passion to help troubled kids, our football program keeps them off the street. It allows them to have safety net for a few hours of the night, a safe place away from trouble at school, or trouble at home, trouble walking on the street. Just to see the smile on their faces when they receive a new pair of cleats makes it all the more worth it. They’re able to develop passions and memories here. Then as they go on and graduate, they never forget you.
